Effectiveness of Viral/Web Marketing: seewhogotfired.com

Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone has any advice on the effectiveness of viral
web marketing like that used at www.seewhogotfired.com or by Burger
King's Chicken site. Where does one begin? How can you measure the
success of these programs?

Some sites get a lot of coverage that way. Remember the hamster dance? It
depends on what the site is and how it gets sent around. I've never heard of
either of the sites you mention. Most of my friends are familiar with my sig
and don't send me nonsense emails though.
