| At Office Depot today, I noticed that the cost of LCD projectors has come way down. There was an Epson unit, for example, for a thousand bucks. The last projector I used, which I borrowed, was a real boat anchor. Has anybody bought one of these things recently? What did you buy and what do you think of the quality? In addition to presentations, these projectors are "HDTV Ready". I assume I can watch TV in the house with this projector, too. Since I happen to be looking for a nice TV right now, maybe I can kill two birds with one stone. I wonder what the bulb life is, how much electricity they use, etc. Are these "business" projectors a suitable replacement for a projection TV? (Sorry kids, you can't watch South Park tonight. Daddy's got a presentation in the morning and I've got to take the TV.) Mike | |||

The bulb cost and life is a factor. Digital keystone correction is important if you're taking it outside to unfamiliar places. The technology has changed significantly in the past two years. -- McWebber No email replies read If someone tells you to forward an email to all your friends please forget that I'm your friend. | |||
