You can likely find on the web or in the library dictionaries that translate from the above languages to your native language. Check there to see if BONI means anything. -- Dave Miller FundablePlans - Create a custom business plan online - only $39.95 http://www.fundableplans.com

Although it has no meaning in English, "boni" does sound like the word "bony" which means very thin. If your figure is a chubby, round one, this will seem odd in English. "Boni" in Latin means "belonging to good/a good". This meaning may carry through all the Romance languages. Check <http://babelfish.altavista.com/babelfish/tr> for translations. It gives "profit" for the French meaning of "boni". -- Wendy Chatley Green wcgreen@cris.com

| Michael H. <mh@tradebutler.net> wrote: > BONI In Italian, BUONI means: they are good. Either in taste and in behaviour. In a slangish, dialect informal way of speaking (around Rome mostly) means the same thing. Basically, 'they are good' or 'be good' as well. In spanish, BONITO means pretty (not 100% sure, tho). (remember Madonna's song La Isla Bonita, the beautiful island) -- "Paying for *** is far cheaper than getting it for free." | |||

Boney also sounds similar to "boner," which means a male erection. if pronounced as "BAH-NEE," that is the name of a woman in English, spelled B-o-n-n-i-e. D
