Marketing ideas / help for online game

These are the basics i've known but never thought would relate to this oO;
Something obvious, under my nose, it is often that way oO;
Brilliant answers are the most simplest Like how i managed this "round"
add a lot
interest to playing among the players (Tripling ship armour points -->
longer battles,
"a strike of genius" said one of the players)

As far as i know, i currently have one of the largest per player incomes at
the market
of similar games, i see many relies only to ads. I noticed long time ago
that this is not
the way to go --> got the idea of Resource Packs --> those have been selling
hot!
Today 4 sold, it is only 20euros of worth --> but only around 150 somewhat
active
players.
Best one time purchases have went over 180euros even!
I've got some other ideas to generate revenue in my mind coming up also

On the market, i know i can technically compete with others, dunno what
happened
but during programming the most important part of the game i got another
"strike of genius",
i ended up breaking boundaries of chosen language and winded up having the
fastest system
on the market. (Not the gui, but the Battle Ticker/Calculator. GUI is a
little bit too slow,
we have applied few small optimizations also today, it is so darn large...)

Also, as a "direct salesman", i've always been good, but i really don't know
a jack
about "mass marketing", i meet some one face to face, i can sell stuff for
over 10 times
of the real value at times, actually as kiddo i lived many years solely
relying on my ability
of sell different kind of stuff or services (Buying cheap hardware, selling
it at higher price,
fixing peoples computers, designing websites etc.), i did not live alone,
but i did not have
any pocket money, needed new computer, had a motorcycle, partying etc...
Currently i've been "studying" marketing maniacly... Reading many kinds of
stuff i can
find of the net.

To putting some cash behind this: I've bought an server:
1800+ Athlon XP, 2x256Mb DDR266, 80Gb HDD etc... not originally that, have
been
upgrading.
Plus, i got on dedicated 10Mbps connection for it. Not cheap at all!
As a side product i found out that i am offering people hosting services
(shared, shells + dedicated)
Those have generated some good revenue!
Btw, what do you think if i branded the hosting as Paradox Hosting?
Currently it carries the name
of my dead portal, which was the "core of business" backdays, but the portal
never did really good oO;

witholds "hidden" meaning,
i've about forgot, but goes along that ya know when you have been up for
like 36hours, it is 5AM

That name was another "strike of genius", i just needed a name and put it
there, several months i understood
what it means.

For hosting stuff i've kept a lot of stuff always planned

The biggest problem that i'm facing: This was only a hobby! YES ONLY AN
HOBBY!
Now i see myself at the point where i need to decide:
Get to normal day job, continue those as a hobby never really getting
anywhere
or
Register an company, do the paperwork etc. and finally start all this as a
full day

for the second option --> i think i will be going to that, because i found a
possible client which
would give me enough jobs to support me along with the goverment aids for
the first 6-12months
to gather more relations on the business world

I think i will need to see someone who is expert on this stuff face to
face... unfortunaly, that kinda
costs a lot of money... which i do not have...


I'll reread what you've written again tomorrow (4AM now), and give me
serious thought....
There is also some business planning software, i tried one once and gave a
lot of info about
business stuff.
