| Does anyone know a good automated utility I can use along with my own web forms to allow others to sign up for online newsletters and other sequential marketing messages? Ideally this will work like an automated autoresponder, but sequentially. That way everyone goes through the same sequence of articles and information. I've tested some of the 'free' autoresponders but all of them 1) put ads in my messages and 2) send other offers to people who are in my mailing lists. I've also tested a few that require me to run them on my own pc daily to process unsubscribe and subscribe requests as well as manually select mailing lists and then send the messages. Not what I had in mind either. If you know of an _automated_ mailing list/autoresponder that I can ideally run from my domain without sql/mysql and without me having to daily manage the subscriptions, please let me know. Yes, Im lazy and want something that works on autopilot : ) Thanks! Andr Andr p.s. Need to reach me? You can email me directly here: http://www.economicbooster.com/feedback.html | |||

Be sure you're confirming subscriptions before adding people to your list, which is automated with most programs. -- McWebber "Richter points to the lack of legal action against his company as proof that he's operating appropriately." | I'm looking for it as well. I'm currently using yahoo webhosting and it doesn't come with the autoresponder/mailing list. I've used, trafficwave.net, before, and it's quite a system. Try it.. but they will cut you off right away if payment is not made at the right date every month. well, anyway, just let me know if you find one and email it to me as well - ssw0420@hotmail.com

Just spend $7.95/mo on a website at a hosting company. Be sure they offer a mailing list like majordomo or Mailman, and have autoresponders. Then setup the form where people put their names to point to the autoresponder. The form should also set the person up in your mailing list. Assuming that you notify the user that they will get a newsletter or whatever this is most definitely opt-in and the way to do it. I'm sure there are other ways to do it as well. >well, anyway, just let me know if you find one and email it to >me as well - ssw0420@hotmail.com No thanks. Check the newsgroups you post to.
