| Hi, I am Diong from Carnegie Mellon University who are currently doing a market research for my Entrepreneurship class. I think of recycling the old apparel designs from the retail stores/ apparel manufacturers. I would like to take the designs of some of the once popular apparel products (of which are no longer in sale in the marketplace), manufacture it for resale. Can you please advice me how can I solicit or buy these designs from the apparel manufacturers/retailers? I appreciate if you can tell me more about the regulations/copyright issues I need to take into account? Thank you for your time and effort. | Thanks McWebber for pointing out this valuable information. I wonder if this applies only to the designs of the clothes currently out of production; or it applies to all the designs in the current lines of product?
