| Is anyone else filing their biz taxes online? I'm worried about cutting corners by doing it myself, but from everything I've been told it's the cheapest way to file and perfectly safe and reliable. I wonder what the stats are on how many small biz owners pay a tax preparer, and how many are DIY. I'm in the U.S., BTW. | |||

| Did you see the article in Small Business Opportunities on this? You can read it at SBOmag.com. I filed online for the first time this year, on Taxbrain.com, and it was much quicker and easier than I expected. Even with paying for the audit defense service it was a couple hundred dollars cheaper than the accountant I'd been going to for a few years. I don't look at it as cutting corners. I think it's just good business practices to do enough research to know which services to use vendors for and which to keep in-house.
