| I am a freelance writer doing an article for Boma Advisor, a new custom publication for enterprise marketing and production professionals. Many articles have been written about how it is becoming increasingly important for marketers to measure ROI for marketing efforts. However, I haven't seen many articles about how B2B companies are actually doing this. For this article, I'd like to talk to marketing professionals at B2B enterprises who actually do measure ROI. I'd like to find out the following: 1. What types of marketing projects does your company measure ROI for? 2. What were your objectives for these projects? (i.e. increase leads? improve sales? anything else?) 3. How did you unearth the data you needed to measure whether the project achieved its objectives? (for example, did you work closely with sales? include a Web component to the campaign? create a special 800 number? use special software? anything else?) I'm particularly interested in any creative ways people have discovered to measure ROI. I can be reached at cheryl@lmi.net. Thank you. Cheryl | |||

Of course, a one-on-one interview should be taken up in with the original poster. -- Mike Turco, co-moderator | |||
