| there are a lot of long dist. tele services around. why don't you do some comparative newsletter and educate your potential audience in the long distance industry. at the same time you will be informing them of why they should sign up for your service. compare prices from and to where the calls can be made. i am personally confused about that bec there is so much out there. then the audience can make a clear and confident decision. | Hi, You can try online advertisement, like Popunder, Banners, and Popin Ads. Popin Ads is a brand new way to advertise online and it can't be killed by software. you can see a demo at http://www.popinads.com/preview.php or get more information at http://www.popinads.com. The click through rate of this type of advertisement is pretty high. If you don't like it, you can always try others, like PPC search engine http://yesup.com, or e-mail promotion www.e-mailpromotion.com, it's not spam. It's an ad people place in their personal e-mails, so people must see it. Actually it can be blocked. Anyone not running JavaScript won't see the ad. If the content of the dropin is being served by one of the domains currently blocked by ad blocking software the drop in box will be empty. Anyone can add such an feature to their own site. See http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici.../dropinbox.htm for the copy and paste script. -- McWebber No email replies read If someone tells you to forward an email to all your friends please forget that I'm your friend. | |||

| "Julia" <julia@yesup.net> wrote > Popin Ads is a brand new way to advertise online and it can't be killed by > software. "Popin Ads" are yet another way somebody has found to aggravate me. The only way I care to find out about somebody's product is when I am looking for such a product, or looking for a solution to a problem that can be solved by a particular product. I am not going to buy tampons, re-fi my home, buy an airplane ticket or join an online health club just because somebody has found yet another way to shove their ****ty ad in my face in such a way that it can't be ignored. A few weeks ago, I wanted to purchase a pedometer. So I went to google.com, typed "pedometer" into the search box and hit enter. I got eighty-six billion hits along with a few ads on the top and right-hand side of the google page. Then I clicked the ads. That is, exactly, how I find and buy a product. Also, if I'm reading an article on new computers, for example, and there are ads on the page, I will usually read the ads if they concern new computers, and if I am looking for a new computer -- which I could be since I am reading about such products -- I would probably click those ads. However, if one of those damn ads popped-up over the text I was reading, screw that. I will not do business with a company who shoves their ads up into my face. Mike Turco | |||
