| I was wondering if someone could point me toward information regarding 'rate of return' from advertising. I would like all of the financial facts that are necessary to make this determination. THanks in advance Mike | |||

| The following question come to mind about the marketing Is this a global marketing effort. Or localized to US or some country? What is the medium of advertising? etc. Also there are books available on the internet (amazon.com etc) have you already seen these? [Bottom-quoting deleted. | Interestingly, the AMA newspaper "Marketing News" printed an article in their 9/15/03 issue on this topic. Titled "Employ Marketing Metrics with a Track Record", it makes the point that marketing and advertising metrics are only meaningful if they show ROI. While some sources of data are identified in the article, it lacks specific statistical data. Still, could be useful to guide your thinking. If you buy it for a dollar and sell it for two, that represents a 100 percent return on your investment. -- Mike | |||
