Multiple Domains

Someone have told me it is not a good idea if trying to host multiple domains in a single web hosting account (1 package). What are the problems?

the problem is that all the domains will be on one main ip, I do this my self and dont find any problems as I dont copy the websites so it is all ok. In a way to the search engines it can look like one very big website but I really wouldnt worry about it

You can host multiple sites under one mail IP ..

BUT follow these rules..

1. Do not use same Theame in all sites
2. Dont do Interlinking between them
3. Dont use Same design and Page Structure
4. Dont use Same Content

Their is one main drawback: If your server goes down then all your sites go down. This will be a huge setback if your income is depending on your websites.
IMO, going with different webhost will allow you to check the services of hosting providers and also help you in getting different IP adresses.
