ad-free hosting services?

Forgive me if this has been asked here before, but is there a list of free
web-hosting services which are also ad-free?

There's no list that I've ever seen but this web host just places a
tiny four word text link at the bottom of the page. If you are with a
web host and you need a file free from gifs or banners that messs up
coding, then I doubt the company would begrudge the occasional use of
wrl instead of .html this file extension can free a web page of
advertisements.

Hi Einar,
I am having trouble signing up for Freeola, can you advise me on that?
The final 'continue' button at the bottom of the signup page isnt
working. I am in the USA, maybe that is it. Thank you.

Freeola offer truly excellent web hosting although not really "free".
In order to upload by FTP you must be connected to their ISP.
You can dial up using an 0845 number, 1p/min off peak in the UK,
not sure how much from elsewhere (+44 845) or subscribe to freeola ADSL.

Try signing up for the pay-as-you-go ISP service, dial in, set up your
web space, transfer your files and don't forget to disconnect.
