uhm.... ftp? :S

hi guys!

As (most) of you know, Shannybanany and I are going to set up a website.
It's adress (www.applejuize.co.uk) and it's hosting stuff is all-ready take care of.
Klaas_Koopman send me the login-name and password, but I really don't know what to do next..
He also said I should download a programm like smartftp or cuteftp...

can please zomeone help me out?

Hay minxy dont worry about that i am sure that Watcha will help you out on setting that up.

you could always download smartftp ready it is just a FTP program that you upload your files to your FTP account.

all an FTP account is like is your computer its like a folder that holds files but there on the internet insted of your computer

FTP, is just a program for you to transfer your files between your computer and the hosting computer ie your webfiles, so u just run the ftp program log in and you will get an iterface two tabs one side will be your pc the other the hosting, then it just a chance of uploading,transfering the files from one to another. If you are famiar with windows explorer you will be fine, Though the setup of your website will allow u to transfer ur files with out the need for FTP

I use Flash-FXP to transfer files from my computer to website, its very simple and easy to use. You can download it from http://www.inicom.net/pages/en.ffxp-home.php its a trial version but it works just the same as full version.
