As my sites grow and I manage more of them, I see the need to move from shared hosting to a dedicated server or VPS. What have your experiences been with dedicated servers, and can you recommend anywhere to start looking?

Avoid lycos is all i can say, tried to move into hosting by getting a VPS it spent more time offline than i care to mention

check out Sitelutions, I think they're the same company that hosts amazon, yahoo, and the milliondollarhomepage. What you should ultimately look for is customer service. Price is not as important as the quality of the responses to your enquiries. Nothing is worse than sending an email to your webhost and not getting an answer or calling customer service and talking with someone that knows very little or nothing at all. | ||
