I intend to put a forum on a paid hosting, not yet decided where. It is extremely important for me that the forum will work fast. So: Are there any parameters, hardware info, operating system or anything from which I can conclude that my hosting server will be fast? Or the only way is - to ask or even to try? | ||

Well all I can say to this is check that you are going with a good hosting company, or you could rent your own server and that way you will be the only one on that server so it doesnt slow down to much with it being well used. | ||

So you think that the main influence on my forum speed will be "the crowd on the server" and not some hardware or connection specifications? Because some hosting providers say: We have fast servers... | ||
