Choosing hosting provider

hmmm...The host I use now is just for the one website I have retailing sunglasses. When I open my next storefront I will be moving onto another host do to some dissatisfaction and I pay $25 a month. They seem to be always having problems. I will be retailing items on at least three websites. I will have to keep reading this topic to learn more I guess. I have no clue who to go with, have heard little bits and pieces about many hosts.

The most important point of web hosting for me is if it's a fast server. People will press the "back" button in less than 5 seconds if your website doesn't loads quick enough.

The second point would be how many free services you get A statistics service is of really good help.

I use mysitespace. com. Friendly service but sometimes slow loading.

Fast and stable and cpanel. Those are my requirements.

I went through being fast and having cpanel, it wasn't stable.

i tried goaddy and it had no cpanel, and was stable, but not fast.

I am now using hostgator. I love them.

Also, I have a reseller for shared hosting accounts that I am offering for free. I'm not quite ready to move my own websites there as i am still working on testing uptime for a month or so and speed is also crucial.

Basically if it isn't good enough for my sites, I am not giong to recommend hosting to you. Hostgator is an option you should consider.

I am currently using Dreamhost.
I heard that they oversell a lot.
So I have plans of moving to other hosts.

I choose host by looking at its reviews especially when it is a Paid host. I also check the uptime of the host for one week using WantedSpot Website Monitoring, Web Server Monitoring Service.

I am using siteground. Though I am not the one doing the set up and all those settings since I don't have much idea on it. It is a friend of mine who does it for me. He said that its a good hosting site. It also offers free monthly hosting if you can refer someone and buys the hosting services.
