Is there other features that I should start using other than free email? I also use yahoo messenger to talk with my brother abroad, but I know that yahoo can do more than what I actually use. Any suggested feature?

They also have Yahoo 360, which is something like MySpace or Friendster. There are also games, music, news (entertainment, sports, world), and personals (if you are into internet dating). A lot of services, actually. I am sounding like a Yahoo advocate here.

Yahoo! is pretty cool. They have newsletters, newsgroups, news sites, dating sites, chat rooms, search and email...well, just look around, they have all sorts of things- nevertheless I use them only for email. I don’t even know why I don’t use the other features

Famous and useful are Yahoo groups. People with same interests gather in particular groups... You can find answers there which you can hardly find just in Google search. I mean - first hand prooven info about...let's say...how long does this and this notebook battery lasts..or where I can get electric scheme of my motherboard...etc.

There are many freelance jobs discussing in Yahoo groups. You have to be invited in most of them...starting point is google search or yahoo directory. You find freelace jobs and then the mail of particular job provider, you mail him...and wait...I was just invited in one, so I want to say it works.

Yahoo also has an equivalent to Google answers, which is a pretty cool way to get and give answers.

But I'll admit that some of the questions are pretty trivial. It's more like a social hangout than a research source, per se.
