Default Will Google stay the best search engine or is it time to move over for MSN

Following my thread here, I want to know what do you think about Google are they going to be around for much longer or will they drop, word has it that Microsoft have been spending a lot of money on there search engine MSN, but will they really be able to pull off what Google has?
I think they could have a big chance if they play there cards right.

Webmasters already more like MSN, because it have faster spiders. If Google won't do something on speed, maybe MSN will take its first place.

webmasters =/= the masses.
As long as MSN doesn't improve their search results into something that's actually worth watching instead of some spamsite, I suppose google will rule for quite some more time.
Microsoft's search from live.com looks promising enough though, and of course microsoft has a couple of things google doesn't have: A big bag of Money and time

I think that Microsoft are onto something big with MSN and thats why they have spent a lot of cash and have taken Alexa and Amazon, also they spent $$$$$$$$$ over 2 months ago on some big things I dont know my self what but it sounds like there coming up with something good.

I really do think it could be a while but MSN will become a bigger SE than Google in time

So it sounds like they are trying hard to beat the other top search engines, but I see that time will tell

I still do prefer using google for my searching. I feel that it is more reliable than MSN even though I understand that they are also staying in the business for a long time. However, I feel that google is an expert in searching.

I think for search engines, Google will still reign for a few more years. As long as people focus on hatred towards what Microsoft produces, it'll stay that way. I believe that is the only thread keeping them back behind the line.

MSN is definitely catching. They've moved into the #2 spot on Alexa. And Google definitely isn't perfect...

EDIT: Been doing a little bit of research - that spammer hand only around 100 pages indexed on MSN, whereas he had 5 billion on Google and 12,000 on Yahoo.

They should be getting worried over at the Google HQ...

LOL I am sick of reading about these sites lol, yes your right it looks like this guy found a loop within googles system and used it, shame for him he used it on a new website witch made it look funny and this will now get stoped.

If they were clever then they should have used it on old domains this way they could have got a way with it and kept on doing what they have done.
