My MSN won't Show Mail on Home Page thats in the inbox

I'm accessing my email without my MSN software for a few days. When I go
online to my.msn.com, my new hotmails are not shown. Sometimes I get the
message that there are none. Other times, I get the message that hotmail is
currently unavailable. BUT - when I click thru to hotmail, I will often have
new emails in my inbox. What's going on with my.msn and hotmail? Is there
some kind of new
