windows search , am I the only one that doesnt like it

I have had vista for 3 weeks now , a couple of days ago I had to search for
something and was shocked at everything that was in the search file ..the
first thing I saw was an e-mail I had tossed from a friend that was
describing his relationships with various females while on
vacation...nothing terrible , but not anything I would want the kids or wife
stumbling upon ,there is a erason why you delete certain things !!! the
more I looked the more i couldnt believe what was there....everything...all
the websites I had visited , all my e-mail address's , I thought vista was
such a secufre computer and come to find that people can go into search and
see everything on my computer....I called HP and they sat there is nothing
that can be done.is this true...even setting the history to zero days still
, you have all your e-mail address and everything in my documents ...is
there a way to fix this ??
