Default Why cant change the location of the database?

WDS 301 latest. Win XP. Trying to change the option to store my database on
a different local trive. It lists the current location as the default C
location that it made at install. I point the "new" location to the local
drive. Nothing really happens. I think I remember it saying once that the
location will be updated when the service is stopped. So after several
reboots and restarts of WDS, the location is still the same.

???

Please help.
