Default Windows Desktop Search / Lotus Notes Add-In not playing nice

I have installed Windows Desktop Search 3.01.6000.72 and Lotus Notes Add-In
1.0.4.0. Now my Lotus Notes 6.0.4 install crashes constantly. Also once it
crashes it will no longer start up until I reboot. Also, if I wait a long
time after rebooting before I try to start Lotus Notes it will not start.

Default RE: Windows Desktop Search / Lotus Notes Add-In not playing nice

Hi Brett,

I have experience the same problem with the two combination of Desktop
Search 3.01 and Lotus Notes Add-In 1.04.0. I have had better success with
Desktop Search 3.00 and the 1.04.0 add-in. Hopefully MS will fix the issue.

Default RE: Windows Desktop Search / Lotus Notes Add-In not playing nice

Kien,

Thanks for the tip. I hope MS fixes this problem too. I've switched back to
using the Google Desktop for business version. There is a plugin they provide
for lotus notes and it works flawlessly. I do like MS's search interface
better but I'll stick with Google Desktop until MS fixes their problem.
