| I downloaded the new RTW 3.0 and it can no longer index files in the "My Documents" folder! I can't even see it in the "select folder to index"-Pane. I think the problem is, that I dedicated an entire partition of my harddisk for the "My Do´cuments"-folder and did not assign it a driveletter - instead it is provided as a folder under "Documents and Settings", which is very nice and I don't want to change it just for version 3.0 to see it... Up to 2.6.5 it worked like a charm. Any help an this would be appreciated! Thanks. | |||

I go to Options/Advanced, and it displays Outlook, and everyone elses (on this PC) OE folders, but not my documents. If I modify, and take out the other users OE folders, and include My Documents, it will index fine. However, it does not save my preferences between reboots, and reverts to the original without My Documents, and with all the other users OE folders. -- Find out about Australia's most dangerous Doomsday Cult: http://users.bigpond.net.au/wanglese/pebble.htm "You can't fool me, it's turtles all the way down."
