How to increase my Page Rank in google?

Like alegnafire says back links with high PR will make your PR go up, higher the PR on the backlink the better as you will get more PR

Add your URL to directories and as stated about the higher the PR the better.

Its better that you slowly build your backlinks in a more natural way if you want to raise your Google PR - maybe aim for 5 per night. Using submission software that throws your url to 100's of directories may hurt your site than do good.

good info there, like Whiss say's adding to many links to fast can make your website look like its spamming to google and even other SE's, I only add 100 - 200 links a day, when i first started doing links i added 60,000 in one week lol and erm yer I could say I am still taking the flack for that

A backlink is a link from another site to yours. This is very beneficial in getting pagerank. The best is to get one-way backlinks, meaning the website links to you, and you aren't required to link them back. These are often hard to get because they hold more weight with search engines. Many sites will offer you Reciprocal links (where they will link you and you link them.) This may halp gettin a few (and a very few) visitors but it will not help Pagerank much.

well, another great way to achieve a higher page rank, is to do exactly what you're doing now- interacting in a forum! The more forum-ing the better! Increasing a website's Google page rank is kind of complicated. There are many factors, some article that I came across once said. Getting one-way links is very difficult. But there is something called three-way linking. I think it works if you have two websites, say A and B, making links with another website, say website X. Your website A will get a backlink from website X. Then your second website, B, will link to website X. That way, you both get one-way links.

thatz nice.. but i think there was a competition too held by some tech company to increase a sites PR... a guy made it full or so on 1 hour... phew! donno how he did it
