| MK PitStop Member | I can't seem to make my free website search engine searchable. I think I have submitted it to a couple of search engines, including Google and several others I haven't heard of before, using the service included in the free webhosting site. Before the submission, I was asked to include meta tags. I suppose those are for keywords. But apparently, I did something wrong because I can't make my website searchable through Google. Is it something to do with a robot.txt code? Any advice will be appreciated. | ||

| MK PitStop Member | I just went back to my sort-of website (its a free one that I am trying out with Bravehost and which I haven't updated in a month). I know I inserted meta tags, but checking the site, I don't see any! That explains WHY. Now I feel like I need to study HTML. So how should I go about inserting metatags or robot.txt into a website? Thanks! | ||

| Member Level 3 | Hello Has you Website has been Indexed? Check Your Keywords and See how relevant it is to your content of your website. Have you exchanged links with anyone? If yes check if they are using no follow links to your site. Try to get inbound links, Submit to Article Directories, Press Release, Social Book Marking. These are the best methods to get traffic. Furthermost check robot.txt in your html. Why not you use paid hosts and then go for free blogs. This will help Steve | ||
