Anyone owns directories here?

I was wondering, does anyone here own a directory?
Be it specific or general ones.
Sometimes we find a lot of directory owners in forums like this one; it would be a great opportunity to share this information and we could all exchange tips on how to build a successful directory. If you have any thoughts on this, I would be very pleased to hear them as I am considering building a niche specific directory.

We have a directory list that I am trying to build it up big, it should help you out

We have tested them all mostly and will be adding comments on them soon like traffic comments etc etc.

also any one that adds there directory in this forum if we see it we will also add it to the directory list

It would also be great to hear if anyone has experience of creating and maintaining directories. I am considering launching one so I would appreciate any tips or tricks you might know to help me make it a success story.

we also own two directories one is being worked on at the moment, the trick is to start off free, this is what we do then we started charging only like $1 and every now and then go free it seems to help with people taking more notice. Also get lots of links in other dirs that should help

Well i got 2 directories both are seo freindly and are at spots #6 and #8 on google.com for term "seo friendly directory" but i will post link anyways just incase they move to #1 and #2 by the time u check again.

They are http://www.h-log.com <<spot 6
and http://www.sbclansite.com >> Spot 8.
