Making visits from Search engines stay on site

Hello,

I was wondering what are the best ways to keep the visits on the site when they come from Search engines? And not just visit to the next querie that comes up.

I saw a great suggestion in another forum (which I will not reveal ) ; they were talking about a script to be installed in your website that would highlight the search terms used in the google search, along your page- that way the visitor would see that your page had the kind of info they were looking for. I thought that was a wise advice...I might just give it a try

as for keeping your visitors on your site longer, the only way to do this is to give your visitors what there looking for so say this

searching for = computer help

then the page they go to is lots of computer help more the better that way they will most probably bookmark your website as well, but say you do this

searching for = computer help

then they go to a page with stuff about how you smashed up a pc, there not going to want to stay as the site will look sh@t to them so they run.
