Cool The Best Keywords Ever

There are a number of measurements that can be used when determining how good a keyword might be:
* Search volume (high or low)
* KEI
* Number of search results for a keyword phrase
* Number of search results that use the phrase in the title
* Whether a competitor uses a particular phrase
* etc.
Looking at keywords in terms of difficulty is great for having realistic expectation of how soon you might be able to displace other sites ranking well for them, but it won’t tell you if your keyword is a good keyword for you. Same with looking to see if your competitor uses that term. For all you know they haven’t done their research yet.All of the information above is useful within context, but there are really only three things that truly matter. You want:# Keywords that target your audience
# Keywords that get traffic
# Keywords that get conversions
You can find and optimize for a lot of keywords that will perform well in one or two of these areas, but the BEST keywords are those satisfy all three requirements. Anything less won’t do.You can target your audience with low traffic keywords - but your conversion rates will be low.You can get traffic that doesn’t convert - but sales rates will be low.You can get conversions by targeting low traffic keywords - but your traffic rates will be low.You can target your audience with poor converting keywords - but your sales will suffer.You can get traffic without targeting your audience - but your conversions will suffer.You can get conversions without targeting your audience - but your traffic will suffer.The best keywords ever are keywords that you have determined to be relevant and have tested to get results. Nothing else really matters.

There are many services that provide keyword generation for free. You get many keywords related to the word you entered. Most of these keywords generated are which the people all over the world search using a search engine. This service is helpful for contents of a website which needs different keywords within. This is also helpful in PPC advertising. eg; Adwords

I disagree with this point, here's my thinking...

Some lower traffic (but not rock bottom) keywords very often have the following characteristics:

1. they are niche and/or ling-tail and therefore the traffic they do generate is much more focused on the subject matter - and therefore potentially much easier to convert

2. they have much less competition and so you can often rank much higher in the SERPs than larger keywords. A No1 spot for a handful of low traffic but low competition niche keyword, can generate more focused traffic than a No9 spot on a high traffic keyword.
e.g. a No1 Google placement for a keyword generating 50 searches per day might snag you 20 clicks (depending on who you listen to with regard the % breakdown of SERPs clicks), whereas a No9 position for a term generating 500 searches a day is only going to get you possibly 10 clicks. Such figures are not absolutes of course and have other factors in generating an actual click - but you get the picture.

These types of keywords are often called "low hanging fruit" and I believe should be a part of all keyword selection.

They should no be used exclusively, however.

Find your primary target keywords, then have some low hanging fruit to pull in additional, targeted traffic.
