Hi guys! Since a small week, I got my own, brand new site: www.vivianbaas.nl. It's indeed in dutch, and the link is just my first and last name. Now I rally want to know some basic SEO.. like when I go to google, and type "vivian baas" I'll get my site etc. Someone can help me with some basics?

Gaining links to your website will help in a big way, so if you want to rank for vivian baas in the search engines then add links to sites with vivian baas as the text, but you really want to rank for a keyword that gets searched as people will not search for vivian baas and this will not gain traffic. If your website is about graphics and help then add links with the text "graphics help" start by using your sig as you can have upto 3 links in there so this should help  There is alot more to SEO aswell, look around the SEO section here and you should find more tips, any questions please ask  | ||

I can tell you for few webmaster forums where i ALREADY HAVE QUITE SOME POSTS AND HAVE FREE SIG SPACE, so I can put your links in my sigs. This will not help you to get more visitors but can help you considerably with your Page Rank in Google. Few weeks are needed anyway to be listed in Google though, I believe. | ||
