This also meen same color text as background color and text that has been made small

Black Hat techniques are all bad, because they are unethical, such techniques can be described as:

-Hiding links
-Creating link-farms( which also penalizes your site BYTW)
-Advertising to offer one free service and than brainwash your visitors to buy it
-Fill your pages with keyword stuffed content which does not teach your -visitors nothing
-Cloak your website
There are others but I think those are the main ones; it is all a matter of acting ethically, in the virtual world as in life

Good:
Choose your keywords carefully. Use some of the tools available on the web to find out what terms people are using to search for the kind of content you have on your site.
Put those keywords into your page titles and if possible into your urls.
Use <h1> <h2> tags in the proper places and place keyword there.
Spread common keyword phrases though out your content without negatively affecting the quality and or readability of it.
Use search engine friendly URLs so that your whole site actually gets spidered.
Make a sitemap and submit it to google sitemaps. This is a good way of getting as many of your pages spidered as possible.
