PR lost its way?

I have been thinking, PR nowdays is just a business. You got PR then sell it.. Whats the point? it's just used to sell links nothing else.

SE have a good idea about content and sites. The whole idea of PR is uselss...

I agree that it's coming too much of a business - although it can be useful when trying to evaluate a website, be it a competitors or someone you are looking to do a link exchange with. It's a lot simpler to do a PR check than to check how many backlinks and indexed pages they have. It's still a useful reference for me.

I have been saying this for a while now but know one seem's to believe in this.

I am glad you two agree on the same matter, high ranked websites are ment to help if you have a backlink from them, but from stuff I have seen it really doesnt these days in any way.
