What's the best PR you've achieved?

What is the best Google PR you have achieved for a site you own and how did you do it? I had a forum go to pr 4 in the past but I didn't do any work on getting links, it was just a very active forum that attracted links. Recently I have a site which went to pr 3 (before it was actually opened) and most of the links came from a forum skin I made available for download with a link to my site on it. Seems to be working well so far. The last Google update gave a lot of pages on the site PR4. I'm hoping I will get an increase at the next update as the links have continued to grow because of the skin.

Mine was a PR5 and still is, I got mine with links and lots of them. This forum is a PR5 on www.mkpitstop.co.uk/forum and it got it not long after it opend without trying

PR5 is pretty good especially with no effort

I have a busy forum that never got above 4 even after 3 years of existance.

getting pr3 is a little easier than pr5+, we have achieved pr3-4 but not go further
