Avoid Cheating Adsense - A few reasons why!

All of us who use google adsense are prolly vary of how many people get banned. A few details of what I know that, being clean and playing by the rules does pay.

1) Google on a daily basis compiles a huge list of proxies on the net. With its search capabilities, I would assume it prolly has 80% of all available proxies.
So avoid using proxies and clicking on the ads.

2) I am not techincally that sound, but heres one more reason. Google also does a check of the ip, and finds if its coming via a website or via genuine users. It looks out for gateway proxies and also the length of time that particule IP has been active / online. (the juice behind how it is able to do so, beats me)

3) Traffic generators and also click groups, are very easy to detect. As google matches it databases for clicks from diff ip's. The total amount of clicks done by one particular ip. Thus you would get yourself into Sh!t if you do that.

4) The above was just the tip of the ice berg. Google's true capabilities far exceed the points I have stated above.

There is always the ethical issue. Cheating adSense is like robbing their advertisers. They are paying to get REAL visitors, real people interested in their services...cheating is fooling those people by making them pay for a service they won’t get. I do not believe it to be honest but...Hey, I am no priestess and everyone is free to be what they will but I cannot agree and could not control myself- had to say my opinion

Well, google has huge offices here in Mumbai and in Hyderabad. And they regulary get in touch with the big SEO and SEM companies here.

The firms here do SEM for companies like IBM and APPLE, and sope they hold a lot of weightage. To cut a long story short i have a couple of friends who work for SEM companies, like Ogilvy NEO. And google discloses a few facts from time to time. To show them how they are tackling fraud.

The purpose of this thread is to desist people from committing click fraud. And most know that its other peoples hard earned money they are stealing and yet they try to do more. I want to hit em hard where it hurts and make 'em realise they would be banned sooner or later.

alienator, well frankly i used to do that when i was new to adsense. but i gradually realised that people like us are putting their hard earned money to make a living since then i stopped.

There are a few ways to get around google ways. I wont disclose them here as I would not want anyone to use them. And I have turned my ways.. when you can earn money legally, why kick someone else in the gut?

I had started this thread because I dont want people cheating advertisers. It would become the case of killing the goose that lays the golden egg. So follow the rules. And gradually you will start making money

I've read a lot of forum threads about people who claim to have got banned from adsense for no apparent reason. I do wonder how truthful they are being sometimes.

I have been a moderator for a webhost for a few years, 95% of people that say their site was deleted for no reason were really breaking the rules in a big way. Its really hard to believe what people say on the net.
