    Default About.blank virus

    Hi
    I am a basic computer user and a few weeks ago had a spyware virus which was popping up all the time I managed I think to get rid of.Now I have the about .blank virus.I have looked for answers but do not want to download more sites to get rid of it as I do not know what is safe to open.Can this be removed manully.Please please can someone help

    you can download Ccleaner, spybot, spyware blaster, or adaware, all of these may be able to help you
    Also you might want to try running msconfig from Start>run and disabling anything that looks fishy from your startup sequence. If you do not know how to do this I can show you screen shots
