    Default Network Card or USB?

For connecting to the internet router, I'm assuming a network card would be much more effective for the job.

However, can people explain to me the pros and cons of either one please?

    Thanks!

USB really is worse off than Ethernet. USB 2.0 can transfer lesser than using network card. Network card is specific while USB is used for pendrive, cameras and other stuff. Therefore it can be slowed down. However, network cards cannot detect damaged modems.
