    Default CD not ejecting

Last night I was playing a game directly from a CD that I borrowed from one of my neighbors. After watching the movie when I tried to take out the movie it just didn’t came out. I tried rebooting but it didn’t help. The disc is still inside the computer only. Please suggest me a way to take it out from the disc. It is not a desktop, I am using MACbook.

Try holding the eject key located at the right-hand side at the top of your keyboard till the cd comes out.

I think, there could be some hardware malfunction.

Most PC disk drives have a tiny hole located on or near the drive opening. This is where the manual eject mechanism is stored. You can simply stick a straightened paper clip through the hole and push in until the disk pops out.

Wow, I really never knew you could open the cd tray with the computer off. thanks for the instructions in case of emergency. I'm not sure about mac books, I've only used IBM compatible machines, and I've been using them since wincim windows 3 and still didn't know that info until now.

OP, let us know if this worked for you

PS, well I did use APPLE short term when I worked for the newspaper, ick. lol
