Wireless Connection

The office that I'm working with right now has an internet connection that is connected through other wireless internet clients. I mean the internet connection that we have is for free as long as there is a strong wireless signal near the antenna that gets the signal. Do you think that someday most cities will become like Singapore wherein the only thing you need is a computer that has a hardware that could connect to an internet wireless connection?

there are WAN's already in place in some cities in the United States... they will be in almost every city in a matter of no time i predict... its becoming cheaper and more common

i think in all over world wan is established properly almost in every country's big cities even its in small cities. as we know where is ISP there is WAN. so every body can connect with a wls connection to internet through ISP......
