Is Wordpress blog the best blogging platform for SEO ? What do you think about other platforms?

I have had more SEO success with less effort using wordpress than others such as Drupal, Mambo, Joomla, Textpattern, etc. The caveat to this is you must use a theme that is properly optimised - though of course, that is the same for any CMS.

Wordpress has a lot of very usable and useful plugins to aid SEO, so for sheer ease of use and flexibility, I rarely recommend anything other than wordpress unless there are some specific CMS requirements that Wordpress simply cannot handle.
