My husband told me to look up our oldest son's name on google last night. I did and lo and behold he's on there! We have an uncommon last name so that helps. Have you ever googled yourself?

Yes I ever googled my own name and I just did it again to answer your question LOL. It's amazing that Google returned 1,700s results (or 1,720 to be exact). Not bad, huh?

Well it depends. If you have been doing some tasks like writing and distributing articles over the net and have used your real name as the author of them, the chances are very high that you could find your name when you Google it.

About 20,600,000 results (0.18 seconds) this is what I just got when I Google myself, guess my name is very very popular! Wow! About 61,200,000 results (0.12 seconds) when I Google my husband. I googled my 3 yr old for kicks and his name has About 5,020,000 results (0.27 seconds) , I am shocked!

Wow, you are really a celebrity family. 8-) Did you google your family's first or last or complete names? Searching my first name, I got 1,330,000 results, while searching my last name got me 566,000 results.

I used our first and last names and my son's is even hyphenated as well as my own, it is crazy that there was that many hits.

I did that a couple of years ago. I don't remember anymore what the results were. I think I'll do it again soon, along with all my brothers ans see what turns up.

I'm on there as well for a few different reasons. One of which being writing. But again, our last name is not common at all so it narrows it down easily.

I remember telling my mom that I was sure that if people (lost contacts) wanted to find me, then they could do so on the internet. I asked her to search me on Google/MSN last year and she found me on HULU. lol

I used to write funny comments on local online news articles using the names of friends, and when they were googled or they googled themselves all these weird comments showed up.
