Darn took almost 3 hrs to make my first glass orb creation

That turned out great. I'm sure they'll get easier and quicker for you now. The first time you follow a new tutorial it can be a slow process.

Looks great! Having said that, I do have some thoughts... If the lower red portion could line up as parallel as that to the upper red portion, it'd look better. The upper portion could also make do without the shadow. A little bit of perspective distortion on the car might also help.

Just my two cents! Not bad for a first try, by the way!

If I assumed correctly, the orb is divided into three areas - the upper part (which is red outside, presumingly white inside), the middle part that has the car, and the lower part which is like the upper part: red outside and white inside.

By parallel, I meant that even in perspective, the upper part and lower part don't seem to be facing each other FLAT...
