Default Beginner question, add borders to images, Draw 11

In Corel Draw 11, how can I add plain borders (typically black, 1/16") to small
images (6" X 9") imported into a blank 60" wide X 36" high poster? I have
selected the Outline Pen, specified border thickness and color, but have not
been able to apply it to the image.

Thank you for any help!

Marvin

Marvin

Use the rectangle tool to draw a box, set the weight and colour of outline
you want, change to the pick tool and use the sizing handles to drag to the
size you need, or set sizes numerically on the property bar.

Faster:

go to www.oberonplace.com and get the Scripts for Crop Marks.(Free) In this
collection there is a script (Crop.Marks.Bounding.Box)which makes
automatically a square around selected Objects,
works also with bitmaps.
You can define a shortcut to that Makro or set a button.
