| Hello guys . I have been searching forum and Corel legal note about the OEM version of the software and I would just like to clarify something . From what I gathered I can't actually purchase OEM version , it's consider to be same as NFR . Tho what puzzle me is, I was offered that version by local software distributor . It's a Singapore branch , authorized to sale the Corel applications. Now , I don't know whether he just try to cheat me or as authorized dealer has the right to distribute it . I won't hide it's extremely cheap and I do need 34 sets for 34 machines . It makes "SKY" of difference on the invoice and I can't say the times are good to throw money around. I once purchased Essential and somehow all my staff complain about it , systematically crashes. SO the OEM 9 version seem like super catch , too super to be true . Could any one please advice ? It's worst than nose bleed to wait for mail from Corel support , been asking few times for past 2 weeks . Thank you for your time Regards urami_* <lsym> There's no place like 127.0.0.1 </lsym> | |||

| I recently purchased Corel Graphics Suite OEM V9. It came with a piece of wire obviously from an old computer. Apparently, this was the "original equipment" that made the sale possible. I registered it with no problem. It's a wonderful product. I would definitely buy it again. | OEM versions of software are supplied with newly purchased computers. They are not supposed to be sold. OEM software doesn't usually have much in the way of documentation or support. I bought an OEM copy of CorelDraw 8 and it works fine. It's a 5 year old program.
