Default What does OEM Corel Draw mean to me?

I bought the OEM version of Corel Graphics Suite v9 for PhotoPaint from
www.SoftwareOutlet.com for a little bit less than that, so I can tell you
exactly what it has.

It has a single disk in a jewelbox with all the programs. There are no
manuals, no clip art and extra graphics. Also, the Microsoft Visual Basic
for Applications is not included (That makes sense to me, they probably have
to pay a licensing fee for VBA). It came with a piece of wire from
obviously from an old computer, I was told that wire was the "original
equipment" that makes the sale possible.

Many will tell you that you need to install two patches for V9 that brings
it up to v9.439. But my version was already at 9.439 so I didn't have to
download and install the upgrades (Which I heard were somewhat troublesome)

The lack of manuals is not a problem, the Help file is extensive and the
Official Guide books are still readily available at Half.com.

I registered my copy with no problem. I assume I can upgrade to V11
eventually, there is nothing on the Corel web site about this.
This notice was on a page in the Corel support Web Page area:

"Please note that OEM or "bundled" software releases are not offered with
warranty support. Assisted support is a paid service and is available for
OEM, "white box," jewel case (CD only), trial, or Academic versions of our
products."

I would definitely buy this product again, and I would definitely use
SoftwareOutlet.com.

Glad to help. If you are a photographer and are used to "lesser" editors,
you will be very happy with PhotoPaint.
