And if those aren't enough, start with a google search
which may point you to miningco or corelmag.

Er, does nobody think to point out the REAL Corel tech support groups?

news://cnews.corel.com/corel.graphic_apps.painter7 if I typed it right &
remembered it right; otherwise, go to the Corel site & look for
Support, then Newsgroups, and follow the link from there.

Because in general, the alt groups see VERY low traffic compared to the
Corel servers ... and anything else you want to read into that is just
your reading more into that than was there.

I don't recall any mention of effort or anything else relating to it,
either, but OTOH when one has an audience of 1% of the users vs. perhaps
60% of the users, and when the answers already given seem pretty
nonchalant and without any specific pointers for the OP, then it would
seem appropriate to steer the OP to that other 60% of the users in case
they might have a more comprehensive answer.

In addition, the discussion of Corel product use in "alt.corel" (the top
level group) is next to non-existent, by design, although this was at
least cross-posted to the graphics group too.
