| Without changing my preferences, two little boxes all of a sudden show up at the upper left corner of an image. What are these boxes? Disabling View Extras can turn them off, but will also hide the Color Samplers that have been set. Is there a way to turn them off without hiding the Color Samplers? Is there a way to turn them off as default? Thanks. | |||

| You've probably by accident toggled your Slice tool one time, and now it's showing the Slices markers on the image. Go to view / show /slices to uncheck this and your problem should be solved. BTW for fast toggling of extras on and off, use ctrl-h (or command-h for mac of course) greets Littleboy <sizematters@att.net> wrote in message news:3F4B3FF9.4B1CF5A8@att.net... > Without changing my preferences, two little boxes all of a sudden show > up at the upper left corner of an image. Unless I go to the menu and turn off slices, I now have to Ctrl-H twice, where once used to be sufficient. If only I could make Slices turned OFF by default, instead of having to remember to set that every time I start a new file... I'm sure it's very useful to some people, but it would be much handier if that were tied to a seperate keyboard shortcut, say, Alt-H for turning off slices, and Ctrl-H for hiding guides/marching ants, etc. Okay, probably some more intuitive hotkeys could be made than that, but you get the idea... | |||
