| I thought I was beyond beginners mistakes - not so. Please Help. I have a bird (the feathered kind) that I wish to move from one location to another. I am quite a fan and fair expert at the pen tool and prefer that to make accurate selections. This time things have gone wrong. I use a pristine (unfiddled) picture and make a copy to work on. I then bring the pen to bear. When I go to Paths and use 'Make Selection' I get two selections, the bird and the whole frame of the photo - not what I want at all. When I try to move it or copy and paste somewhere else, the whole of the picture is copied rather than the bird selection. I have got round the problem by using the mask selection and that work well. Why has my old friend the pen tool denied me :-)???????????????? Borge in Perth | |||

If you don't need the old path, delete it. -- Jeff 'The Wizard of Draws' Bucchino "Cartoons with a Touch of Magic" http://www.wizardofdraws.com http://www.cartoonclipart.com Arnold for Governor! http://www.wizardofdraws.com/store/terminator.html | |||
