Default lost option


I found this cool option yesterday that lets you darken the black parts of
a photo with a slider bar... now I can't find it


"You're watching a stage play. A banquet is in progess.
The guests are enjoying an appetizer of raw oysters.
The entree consists of boiled dog."

Sounds like Image -> Adjustments -> Selective Color....

Set "Colors" to "Blacks" and slide the lower slider named "black" to fit
your desire... =)

Today I realized that the option I was looking for was in my Microtek
scanner software, not Photoshop.

I will try "Selective color" though as that is something I could use a lot.

On my night shots I often like to black out the whole sky; the paint bucket
option sometimes overlaps into areas where I don't want it, and the brush
is time consuming.

Here's a reduced example of one I've been working on:
