| I found this cool option yesterday that lets you darken the black parts of a photo with a slider bar... now I can't find it "You're watching a stage play. A banquet is in progess. The guests are enjoying an appetizer of raw oysters. The entree consists of boiled dog." | |||

Set "Colors" to "Blacks" and slide the lower slider named "black" to fit your desire... =) Hope it's what you're looking for ---- Anders | |||

| "Anders Jensen" <gooferd@hotmail.com> gave Roy Batty a mean glare and said: > >Sounds like Image -> Adjustments -> Selective Color.... > >Set "Colors" to "Blacks" and slide the lower slider named "black" to fit >your desire... =) > > >Hope it's what you're looking for Today I realized that the option I was looking for was in my Microtek scanner software, not Photoshop. I will try "Selective color" though as that is something I could use a lot. On my night shots I often like to black out the whole sky; the paint bucket option sometimes overlaps into areas where I don't want it, and the brush is time consuming. Here's a reduced example of one I've been working on: http://www.urbanphotos.net/images/lv/strat_from_mgm.jpg "You're watching a stage play. A banquet is in progess.
