Default Cant do tutorial :S

Hmm..
Maybe the issue is drawing the curve at the displayed angle?
Try this.
Dial in the width of the brush. If you're in PS7 then you'll need
to click on the "Brushes" pallette int he upper right hand corner of
the screen and type in 15px for the Master Diameter.
The with the proper color selected for the foreground, click in the
approximate center of the screen about 50px from the top. Holding
the "Shift" key down, draw a straight line down to about 50 px from
the bottom of the page.
Select Filter > Distort > Shear and set the center of the vertical
line by clicking on it, then gently move the top and bottom end-points
to the left, until you have a curve to your liking. Click OK.
Press Control-T (PC) and rotate the line about 30 degrees.

Start with a new image, 250x250 pixels. Select a dark gray as the foreground
color. Create a new layer, and with the Pen or Paintbrush tool, draw a wire
shaped line on it, 15 pixels thick.

Gradual curves look nice. This may take a few tries to get right.

Name the layer Wire.
