| Hi, I'm a medium level PS user (v5.5) and a web designer. How do I use PS to draw long curves ? I have tried using the circle tool to create as big a circle as possible but the long curves I need require too big a circle. -- Howard9 | |||

| Thanks to Jim for his advice re the pen tool. My problem whenever I try this tool is that when I try to get the curve to curve around I always run out of screen space. I get to the edge of the screen (1024*768) and I can't get it curve any sharper. -- Howard9 | |||

| well...it you want to send me sample of what you are tying to do...i took the day off from work...so perhaps i could help you out. I use the pen tool quite frequently (you can set it to create vectors)....and if you are using 7 (and i think 6) you can use that to draw curves and vectors within photoshop. The feature isnt quite a flexible as illustrator....but it it quite good. hope this helps....feel free to contact me jj "Howard9" <nevermailme@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:MPG.19639066172ea96f9896b2@News.CIS.DFN.DE... > navarrj123@comcast.net wrote.::. >> > > I personaly would use Illustrator to draw my vector curve preciseley the way > > that i want it and then bring it into photoshop. > > > Tks for the advice > > > -- > Howard9 | |||

I am experimenting with the pen tool but it seems very very quirky and limited. I will check out some of the basic drawing apps that come cheap as some of them have better drawing tools for stuff like this than PS. Tks again ! -- Howard9 | |||
