Rather than asking an open ended question, could you please give specifics for online gaming. Like what computer specification are needed eg graphics, processing speed and gaming/joystick etc? Thanks.

Things you need: If its a free to play game, no need to buy game card to play. If its a not free to play game, buy game card when it already require you. (newly registered user are allowed to play 30 hrs/ 30 days for free before the required to use game card. You need to know first the types of characters in the game; choose the character that will fit your personality (Im a fast-attacker; close combat guy!) When you already have information about it, you can now play! (BE CAREFUL ON DISTRIBUTING/BUILDING YOUR CHARACTER) GOODLUCK!

| MK PitStop Member | Thank you for that. I really needed more detail than that. I play games online and would like to set up my computer with specs that will enable me to play any game online or any game that I buy both now and in the future. Is there a minimum specification requirement? For the hard core gamer and taking into consideration the evolution of games, in lets say 2 years time would the specs on your rig take a game of the future? | ||

| MK PitStop Member | Hello again MK Gamers Thank you for all your advice. However, I still feel like I am in the dark where gaming is concerned. Sorry I did not come back sooner, I totally forgot I placed this post and was about to place another in the same vein but thought to check what was on the forum. Right back to business, at the moment I am playing games online, here on the forum and from CD-ROM, with a normal everyday mouse. I find it restrictive. Should I be using a joystick or gamepad? If so, which ones are the best? Do I need a different stick/pad dependent on the game I am playing? I am currently playing a flying/swimming/running/skateboarding/driving game and cannot progress through due to the lack of versatility of the keyboard. With other games I use a mouse and find the same restictions. I do not have a clue about where to start when considering a joystick or gamepad for a PC. Advice is much needed. When that is sorted then we can talk gaming hardward, although by then I probably will have worked that one out! | ||
